Ficus is also known as common fig and chinese banyan is belongs to the family of Mulberry plants and is the most popular indoor tree species. Care - Use an organic liquid or chemical fertilizer diluted to one half strength. As ficus is fast grower, prune back 2-4 leaves after 6-10 leaves have grown. Water - Pour 2 cups of water twice a week or when soil begins to dry out. Mist occasionally with a spray bottle. Light - It can grow indoors close to a sunny window or year around in outdoors with warmer climate. Temperature - Ideal temperature should be in between 22-30 degree celcius.
