About Plant - Ficus belongs to the family of Mulberry plants and is the most popular indoor tree species. It is also know as common fig and chinese banyan. It's a fast growing plant and ideally it should be kept in a small pot with a moisture plate under it. Water - Water the plant slowly so that it seeps in the soil. Pour 500 ml or 2 cups of water twice a week. Mist occasionally with a spray bottle. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. As ficus is fast grower, prune back 2-4 leaves after 6-10 leaves have grown.
